A Delaware woman is facing charges, for allegedly injecting her baby with feces - several times. Police say 29-year-old Stephanie McMullen injected human feces into her young son's bloodstream, poisoning him on several occasions. The child did survive.
Police say the child's father, seen outside of police headquarters in the streaming video, is too distraught to speak, and knew nothing about the alleged abuse.
Investigators say McMullen is a former pediatric nurse at A.I. Dupont Hospital where she took her son for treatment. Police say they found needles and also confiscated her computer. Lt. Colonel Scott McLaren of the New Castle County Police Department says, "Investigators learned, several inquiries on the search engines were child poisoning. On at least two occasions, the child was hospitalized days after the searches."
Neighbor Barbara Weiigman says, "It is disgusting. It's absolutely disgusting, like Joey had said, that somebody - any parent - any body - would do this to a child."
McMullen's attorney says the charges are unfounded. Doctors say the boy suffered fevers, diarrhea, dehydration and vomiting. The child is currently in foster care. Police believe this could be a case of Munchausen Syndrome by proxy, where parents try to create health problems in their children to get attention.

That really is sick. She should be locked up for doing something like that to a little kid. I wonder why she would want to do something like that.
